I don’t always like to use the term hipster, but that is what Jake Ryan, character in John Hughes classic Sixteen Candles is. Literally. I watched this movie the other day and it hit me. “Pretty sure that whole outfit is currently at JCrew .” “I wonder if Jake would wear Warby Parker glasses?” + “WTF can I get that fair isle sweater for me?” (yes these are the kinds of things that I think, no big deal)
